Meet the Team

Veterinary Surgeons

Anna Armitstead – BSc (Hons) BVSc MRCVS

I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2008 and after a couple of years working in Wales in mixed practice, I moved to Hampshire to concentrate on a career working with small animals. I enjoy all aspects of being a general practitioner vet but particularly enjoy surgery and investigating and managing lameness in dogs.

I am the proud owner of a very badly behaved working cocker spaniel called Charge, 2 cats and 2 slightly feral children.  Outside of work I enjoy cycling, paddle boarding and spending time on the beach in Wales when its not raining!

Emma O’Connor – BVSc BSc MRCVS

I graduated in 2004 from the University of Bristol and have worked in general practice since then.  I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine, but I have a particular interest in both Dermatology and Ultrasonography.

I am kept in check at home  by my husband , daughter and our stinky Labrador who loves nothing more than a good roll in fox poo on a regular basis.  My hobbies include horse riding, cycling and attempting to make things on my sewing machine.

Charlotte Lewis – BVetMed MSc BSc MRCVS

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College London in 1999. I enjoy all aspects of being a general practitioner but particularly enjoy working with exotic animals (if it has wings or scales I’m in).  I gained my General practitioner certificate in exotic animal practice in 2010 and my Masters in Wild Animal Health and Conservation Medicine in 2019.

I share my life and my home with a geriatric Cairn Terrier (Tilly), a pampered princess of a Lurcher (Rho) and a grumpy Horsefield Tortoise (Kizzi) and my very patient husband (Phil).
Outside of work I enjoy making jewellery , playing the mandolin, going to gigs, diving and spending as much time as work allows volunteering at Dekamer Sea Turtle hospital in Southwest Turkey.

Rebekah Consani – BVMS MRCVS

Originally from America, I graduated from the University of Glasgow and have a special interest in Exotic Animal care and medicine.

I am currently working on my CertAVP in Zoological Medicine and look forward to learning more in-depth care for my patients.

Outside of the clinic I can be found wandering the English countryside finding animals for my wildlife photography hobby or hunkered down at home with my rescue bearded dragon, Merida, playing video games.

Raluca Mustata – MRCVS

I graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Soon after I moved to the United Kingdom and started an internship in small animals and exotics at Anton Vets. Once I finished my internship I joined the Anton Vets team.
I enjoy the challenges of every new case with an interest in diagnostics, imaging and surgery.

I have a soft spot for cats and I’m the proud owner of two mastermind cats, Lia and Zuzu.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching a good psychological/thriller movie and painting, even though I’m not very good at it. My favourite place in the UK is the Tintagel Castle, the place where I got engaged and will always remain close to my heart.

Robert Seni – MRCVS

I graduated from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Soon after I moved to the UK I started my career in veterinary medicine working as an official veterinarian and then I relocated to Andover where I started an internship in exotics and small animals at Anton Vets. After I finished the internship I became part of the Anton Vets team. The field I enjoy and I want to continue focusing on is soft tissue surgery with an interest in orthopaedics.

In my spare time I like going to the gym and cooking. I’m the proud owner of two not so well behaved cats, Zuzu and Lia.

Siobhan Westbrook – VetMB BA MRCVS

I graduated in 2007 and after a couple of years in mixed practice moved to small animal practice. I have a certificate in feline practice and enjoy putting my cat behaviour knowledge to use.

I like teaching and mentoring the junior vets, especially in surgery. I have three children, an elderly dog and some chickens, so I don’t have much free time!

Cody Munson – BVM&S MRCVS

Originally from Arizona, I moved to Edinburgh to study veterinary medicine and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2022. I have a particular interest in working with exotics, but I am still open to everything the veterinary field has to offer. I spend my time off playing the violin, watching too many movies, and playing board games with my friends. Like your dog, I am also very motivated by snacks.

Oana-Andreea Moisescu – MRCVS

Hi! My name is Andreea, I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest in 2021. I knew from high school that I wanted to become a veterinarian to help animals. My first pet was a rabbit that was with me throughout high school and college, thanks to him I discovered my passion for exotic animals. So today I am here where I can fulfil my dream of helping animals and also work with a team of exotic veterinarians.

In my spare time I like to play tennis, travel and spend time with friends. I also enjoy spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors!

Sarah Rossini – MRCVS

My name is Sarah Marina Rossini, and I was born in Maputo, Mozambique.
I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon in February 2022. My areas of interest are equine medicine, soft tissue surgery, exotic animal medicine, wildlife and environmental conservation.

Before joining the Anton Vets team, I did an internship at a clinic specialised in surgery, dentistry and diagnostic imaging in dogs and cats in Mozambique, an internship at the Equine Surgery and Emergency Service in the University of Lisbon. I am currently a member of a non-profit organisation focused on the eradication of rabies in Mozambique.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, horse riding, cooking and just being outdoors!
